World Championships & Indo-Pacific Games results

7 athletes & 2 coaches were selected to represented Australia this July at the World Age Games & World Championships in Paris, France. This competition followed a 2 year long campaign of training, competition experience & selection trial events.

Our 11-16 Women’s Pair, Jodie Sim & Millie Hulst competed two fantastic routines finishing up in 18th place over all out of 38 groups.

Or Senior trio Amber Kaldor, Mei Hubnik & Madison Chan finished in 15th place overall after 3 routines, performing a spectacular dynamic routine scoring 26.86.

Sadly our 12-18 mixed pair Perry Drakopoulos & Tara Sahagian were unable to compete after an injury during training in Paris. With a podium finish in their sights, they completed training & cheered the rest of team Australia on. We wish them the best of luck for their future endeavours.

3 athletes Samantha, Sophie & Jacqueline & coach Elie Vlahovich ventured over to Sun City in South Africa in July to represent Australia at the Indo-Pacific Championships which occurs every 2 years & involves nations that surround the Indian & Pacific Oceans.

This event was traditionally a Trampoline Sport competition & our trio was the first Australian group to participate in the inaugural  acro division.

The girls were ranked first going into the finals & performed their dynamic routine resulting in the first Australian gold medal in an Acro international event! An amazing result! Congratulations girls!
